Shelli makes her living by writing grant proposals. She makes sense of her life by writing stories, snippets, poems (who knew?) and prose. On occasion, the private words she puts to paper take on an energy of their own, baiting her to open them up to public scrutiny. It is in those moments especially when she opens herself to the brilliancies of letting go.
